6 month Interim Management Accountant for manufacturing business

A prestigious manufacturing company based in Coventry have an opportunity for an Interim Management Accountant who is available to start at short notice.

Your new role

• Support production of management accounts in a timely manor including International entities.
• Preparing and posting journals including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
• Reconciliation of balance sheet nominals complete with supporting documentation, completing variance analysis, and investigating aged / unfamiliar balances
• Responsibility for the Intercompany recharges and matrix
• Assisting in the preparation of the monthly payroll and other external taxes
• Ownership of several subsidiary international entity accounts
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Other ad hoc work that may be required

What you'll need to succeed

• You will ideally be a qualified Accountant and available to start a new role quickly
• Experience of management accounting, preferably within an engineering and project costing background.
• High degree of computer literacy - knowledge of Microsoft PC applications and an Accountancy System such as SAP.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly confidential - Demonstrates integrity.
• Exposure to international trade and experience with foreign exchange transactions.

What you'll get in return
The client is offering a salary of £45,000 - £50,000. There is hybrid working and free parking.
The role is foreseen to last around 6 months.
