This is a great commercial opportunity that will be covering duties while the client recruits a perm process in tandem.

My client are a highly reputable business based in Taunton that have a great reputation on the market.
Description
The key responsibilities:
- Provide strong finance business partnering to senior management, ensuring that the business fundamentally understands how it is performing against set targets and what levers it can pull to improve that performance (including but not limited to: Adjusted EBITDA, Free Cash Flow and CAPEX).
- Produce financial deliverables in line with agreed timetable, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, investment appraisals and presenting financial information where required.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, complying with financial policies and accounting standards, and promoting an environment of strong controls and governance. Liaising with internal and external auditors may be required.
- Identify risks and opportunities that may impact on business performance, and work with senior management to mitigate risk and maximise opportunity, tracking performance and driving delivery.
- Promote business growth opportunities through sound financial evaluation of projects, acquisitions or any capital expenditure in the relevant business area. Assess return on investment of projects on an ongoing basis and perform post project appraisals
Profile
Candidate profile:
- A recognised accountancy qualification or equivalent (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Good knowledge of management accounting and strong business analysis knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and business reporting systems
- Strong Finance Business partnering and commercial experience
- Investment appraisal and post project appraisal experience (desirable)
- Power BI experience (desirable)
Job Offer
An excellent day rate (inside IR35) and an immediate start for the successful candidate. Please note this is hybrid working so candidates need to be available to travel to Taunton.
