The opportunity:

This role represents a great career opportunity for a dynamic and commercially savvy accountant to join a significant employer in the Taupo region.

Working closely with the Finance Manager this person will be responsible for:

• Monthly accounting completion and review
• Cash flow forecasting and analysis
• Process improvement identification and recommendation
• Business case analysis and recommendation
• Providing proactive financial and commercial advice on business units
• Lead the finance team in the preparation of the annual report
• Ongoing review of financial systems, practices and policies

Skills and experience required:

• New Zealand CA qualified is preferable but not essential
• At least 3 years' commercial accounting experience
• Intuitive and proactive
• Commercially savvy
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to pick up new systems
