Accounts Payable Clerk
Our client located in Milford, CT is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team! They are located in a beautiful location and due to increase in buisness need someone to start right away! This team is very welcoming and friendly and needs someone with a supportive attitude to lean in and assist. This would be ideal for a recent graduate who has just received their Bachelor's in Accounting or someone who is well seasoned in Accounting tasks without a degree. • Receiving invoices and entering them into the system
• Depositing checks as needed
• Reconciliation for Credit Card Purchases
• Posting Material Bills
• Contacting vendors if there are pricing inquiries or discrepancies
• Processing Overhead Invoices for immediate needs
• Invoice volume can vary between 100-150 per week
• Ad hoc projects as needed

Preferred Skills:

• Recent Graduate with Accounting Degree or 3-5 years Accounting Experience
• Flexible personality able to lean in and support where needed
• Intermediate Excel- Comfortable with large spreadsheets
• Previous inventory knowledge a plus!
• Previous construction or manufacturing experience is also a plus!
• Previous Manufacturing or Construction is a plus
