• Reconcile monthly reporting, check and analyse working and booking of finance lease accounting transactions
• Troubleshooting and resolve billings and contracts issues related to finance lease in Customer Delight Service System (CDSS) vs A-Fusion Accounting System by liaising with relevant stakeholders as well as resolve finance lease reporting issues and queries expertly
• Clearing of open items in finance lease report, support operational issues and ensuring delivery of quality finance lease accounting/reporting in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness on daily/periodic basis
• Approve of debit note and credit note related to finance lease transactions
• Raise journal and perform monthly closing of finance lease
• Initiate continuous process improvement in the areas of operation and reporting
• Support in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries
• Plan, manage and execute work by developing SOP, instructions and systematic working processes to ensure monthly/quarterly/yearend closing is executed on a timely and accurate basis
• Responsible towards master data and agreements/contracts maintenance /storage /security /update for Finance and Accounting Division
• Maintain and update complete training material of General Accounting and Reporting for the purpose of internal functional training and cross sharing of knowledge throughout Finance team
• Transfer knowledge of finance lease, sharing of best practices and perform job rotation as well as ensure effective and sustainable development within GL Reporting team
• Back up, assist with and perform general ledger (GL) and other related Financial Reporting and Accounting functions as required
• Assist and support Senior Manager i.e. superior and Head of Division in Ad Hoc tasks where needed and applicable including implementation of project initiatives e.g. Internal Control System, Process and Continuous Improvements, System Enhancement etc.
