Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

Private Bank caters specifically for the needs of the Banks high net worth individuals and families, and your primary focus will be to work closely with your Private Bankers and Senior Associates, through a seamless, integrated service, providing comprehensive banking solutions that will meet the clients immediate and future banking needs. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assist the wider team to proactively manage high net worth client portfolios and relationships to meet their private banking needs and to continue to build their wealth
• Core banking, investment and credit focus with an emphasis on strong credit capability and portfolio risk monitoring
• Assist in implementing highly proactive, structured and documented annual call plans to support your Private Bankers that provides and maintains frequent and exceptional client experience across the portfolio
• Credit management, analysing financial information and preparing proposals
• Assisting in general banking requirements, investments and foreign exchange

Ō Pūkenga | About You

We are looking for someone with prior experience in a customer facing or support role, within a banking or financial services environment. Your proactive mindset with the ability to think laterally and practically to identify and solve problems, will make you a great fit for this role. We are looking for:

• A strong understanding of banking principals, Investments, Credit Writing, document preparation and knowledge of bank systems will be a distinct advantage
• Solutions focused with excellence problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Have a customer-focused attitude and a proven track record in managing workflow
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
