Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Bookkeeper opportunity on behalf of a friendly, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in South Buckinghamshire.
This opportunity would suit an experienced AAT qualified/ part qualified or QBE individual with practice experience who is looking for either full time or part-time working hours.
The role will include bookkeeping duties including VAT returns, bank reconciliations, monthly management reports, preparing accounts to trial balance and dealing with client queries. Other responsibilities will include processing clients payroll and assisting the Payroll Manager on an ad hoc basis.

Responsibilities:
Preparing accounts to trial balance
Undertaking bookkeeping for clients
Preparing VAT returns
Bank reconciliations
Purchase & Sales Ledger
Processing clients Payroll
Maintaining up to date complete financial records
Liaising with multiple clients at any one time, maintaining and developing relationships
Dealing with client queries
Requirements:
AAT qualified is preferred but not essential
Good double entry bookkeeping skills
A good working knowledge of accountancy software eg: Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience of working in practice is essential
