Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a successful manufacturing business based in Chesterfield, Due to further growth, they are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join the accounts team.
You will join a close knit and busy team where you will be supported and encouraged in your role to ensure you have everything you need in order to be successful.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining fixed asset register and preparing depreciation journals
* Assisting in posting accruals and prepayments
* Assistance with maintenance of sales reporting system and running reports with the completion sent to company directors
* Assisting with sales and marketing analysis
* Assisting with general overhead analysis
* To produce sales forecasting reporting
* Assisting with the maintenance of monthly control accounts
Experience and Skills:
* Knowledge and understanding of management accounts
* Strong communication skills
* Advanced Excel knowledge is essential
* Committed, self-motivated and highly organised individual
* AAT qualified or part-qualified or have equivalent accounting experience
