Accounts Payable Customer Service Support- REMOTE

Manpower in partnership with accounting company is seeking experienced Accounts Payable customer support specialists. This is a long term contract, full remote position. Individuals must meet education requirements to apply.

Pay: $23+hr based on education/experience
Shift: Standard business hours 8am-5pm
Equipment provided
Position is long term contract -1+ year(s)
Please note: Individuals must be willing to work Mountain time hours. There is no part-time schedules, all positions are full time.


What you will do:
  • Research open items through TAP, PeopleSoft, and other accounting systems, identifying root cause of issues, and providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Work with other Accounts Payable functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders including on shore and off-shore Accounts Payable, Operations, Finance, and Supplier representatives.
  • Respond to Tier 2 escalations from Managed Services partner in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with critical business account issues in an expedited fashion, engaging appropriate personnel
  • Any other job responsibilities as required at the Company's discretion


Requirements of the role:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, specifically procurement and accounts payable process workflow.
  • Ability to work collaboratively where necessary in a team environment
  • Ability to work in high pressure environment with competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). PeopleSoft / large ERP experience a plus.


Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Associate's degree or higher in Accounting or Business
  • 2-5 years' experience in Accounts Payable required
  • Customer Service call center experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
