Job Description
A data analyst who is proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power-point tools, has an analytical bend of mind to analyse and can process data to convert it into insightful information to help in business decision making. He should be very dynamic at work and have an attitude of constant learning. Proficiency in BI tools like Power BI will be an added benefit.
He will be required to work with multiple stakeholders to assess requirements, recommend solutions and bring a systematic implementation methodology. He should be a solution-oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skills.
o Understand the business environment in order to interact with multiple stakeholders to assess requirement on - data availability, data authenticity, reporting structure etc. and thereby taking corrective actions.
o Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
o Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. Helping develop reports and analysis basis the business need and finding tools to automate them for continuous business support.
o Act as a custodian for the entire BI warehouse and multiple masters. Find ways to seamlessly integrate various masters through use of technology.
o Supporting initiatives with the business and IT teams for data integrity and normalization.
o Implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
o Working with the business teams to evaluate changes required and bring updates to existing systems by interacting with various stakeholders - internal and external.
