Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

PAYROLL
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct and deliver in an appropriate, accurate, ethical and timely manner
- Conduct and complete to company specifications.
- Liaise with and follow up client, and/or Project Manager on progress in a timely (agreed) manner.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
PAYROLL
- Assist the Accountant with preparation of payroll tax
- Prepare superannuation payment
- Assist with weekly wages
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
- To prepare payments each week for payment
- To make payments within due date once authorized
- Reconcile credit card statements
- Load all expenses and wages into Reckon within 30 days of payment
- Load all processed cheques each week into the accounting software
- Assist the Accountant in all PAYG and payroll tax lodgements and payments
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
- To prepare and manage the ageing summary file, chasing by email and phone all outstanding invoices as per current processes
- Escalate all problem debtors to the CFO
- Prepare and manage the correct entry of payments twice weekly
- Prepare and send all invoices once approved as per current processes
ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT
- Assist the Accountant in year-end reconciling and lodgement of tax return
- Reconcile the books and back account at month end
- Stay up to day with the latest state and federal regulations and requirements
- Assist the Accountant in the lodgement of BAS
- Assist the CFO in monthly P&L reporting and cash flow forecasting
- Keep and maintain all accounting documents, ensure filling is complete and up to date at all times.
- Keep soft copy records as per processes for all supplier invoices and our invoices
- Assist in all ATO queries and audits as they arise
