Group Financial Controller

Your new company
This large multi billion pound global group is recruiting for a Group Financial Controller for a newly created and high-growth division.

Your new role
Reporting into the Divisional CEO for a £50M+ business unit, this role will initially be stand alone, pulling together the consolidated results for the international entities and reporting those numbers to group. As the business grows, the role will evolve to have more strategic and commercial elements, which may include a small team.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need strong consolidations experience and the ability to navigate systems and build the consolidated pack. You will need the gravitas to present these numbers to the board and the commercial flair to take on a bigger CFO role within time. They are looking to make an immediate appointment and therefore at this stage can only consider someone on a maximum of 4 weeks notice.

What you'll get in return
Our client may consider an appointment on a pure interim, temp to perm or straight permanent basis, but for the successful applicant there are excellent prospects both within the group and the division. You will be expected to be in the Birmingham office 4 days per week and the option of working one day from home. There is also an excellent benefits package available.
