Sf Recruitment are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a temporary ongoing basis. This will be to work work a well established business working out of Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will be AAT level 4 and studying CIMA or ACCA. Experience working in an accountancy environment and proficient on excel.

Main

Responsibilities:


Responsibility for Receivables ledger including weekly reporting to management, debt control and reconciliation to trial balance at month/year end.
Working with Property team to enter all rental invoices for commercial and residential properties and reconciling to Key Property software at month/year end.
Coding all self-billing invoices
Allocating all direct debit payments that have been entered as pre-payments and banking reconciliations, working with Treasury function to ensure accurate cash forecasting
Preparation of CIS return and submission to HMRC via online portal
Contribute to the production of accurate and timely KPIs, variance explanation and balance sheet reviews at month end
Work with business partners to produce investment appraisals on future projects as part of our drive to make the right expenditure choices
Assist in year end and audit preparation
Assist in ensuring effective control environment maintained
Improving the insight provided on supplier spend to improve buying power and efficiency
