Let's talk about the team:
As part of the Finance team, Payroll provide services to the business leaders, managers and employees of Capgemini Australia and Capgemini New Zealand.This role reports to the Payroll Manager with flexibility for hybrid WFH/office working arrangements. This role can be based in Adelaide or Melbourne.

Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:
As part of an Outsourced Managed Service Payroll environment, you will be responsible for the provision of agreed transactional services in a timely and accurate manner within agreed timeframes.
In this role, you will be:
Customer Service:

* Completing tasks accurately and within agreed timeframes for fortnightly and monthly pay inputs and employee updates
* Providing accurate and timely advice to Capgemini staff in response to queries.
* Ensuring compliance with procedures, internal controls, current legislation, and business requirements
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and streamlining, and supporting implementation of initiatives or new tools
* Other duties as required

Client Relationship:

* Maintaining a good working relationship with Payroll Service provider
* Facilitating query/issue resolution, providing clear instructions / guidance as required
* Ensuring alignment to Capgemini requirements and legislation

Personal Competencies:

* Prioritising effectively to ensure tasks are accurately completed within the agreed timeframes
* Supporting the Payroll team to ensure the high level of service delivery is maintained.

Demonstrating initiative, providing appropriate advice to managers and staff in response to queries and escalating where appropriate.

Let's talk about your capability and experience:

* 5 years' experience in Australian and New Zealand payroll with high volume processing for a large organisation; familiar with appropriate legislation.
* Demonstrated data processing, analytical and organisational skills
* Ability to adapt to rapid change in a fast paced, dynamic environment
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
* Experience working with different Payroll and Employee Self-Serve (ESS) systems (Ramco, Preceda, SAP)
* Ability to ensure compliance to policy, while remaining flexible within approval boundaries

Excellent customer service skills, both written and oral, and the capability to handle difficult situations in a calm and assertive manner
