We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join the Edinburgh team of an international Renewable's client. The company in question is one of the largest renewable energies in Europe and boasts a valuation of over 4.9 Billion.

This vacancy offers an initial contract of 12 months with the possibility of a permanent contract afterwards.

The main focuses of this role will be :- Accounting, Bookkeeping, VAT compliance, periodic Financial Reporting & Annual Financial Statements.

The main duties will be:-

Account Payables process management in SAP. Handling of supplier invoices, dunning, payment and correspondence
Accounts Receivables process management in SAP.
Financial accounting in SAP (including General Ledger, Payroll & Fixed Assets)
Support to Quarterly IFRS Reporting to HQ and Annual UK GAAP Accounts
Support to Controlling and Cost accounting
Support to General administrative tasks
Support to preparation of VAT Periodic and VAT Annual Returns
Support to Bank postings & reconciliations in SAP
