Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant Job (£12 - £14 an hour)


Your new company
You will work for a professional organisation based in Dartford. The role is a temporary role which has the potential to go permanent. The position will sit within the Finance department. The role involves a day of 8.30am - 4.30pm with an hour allocated for lunch. This role is purely office based.

Your new role
You will report to the Management Accountant, and be responsible for working closely with the whole business and supply chain to process all purchase invoices from receipt to payment and maintain the purchase ledger in accordance with processes and group policy including the application of CIS and VAT.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience in a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable environment. You will be able to work quickly and accurately, and have good knowledge of CIS (construction industry scheme) and VAT.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive rate of £12 - £14 an hour.
