Qualified Finance Manager required

Outskirts of Bridgend - fully remote working to go Hybrid (1 day a week in the office)

Salary of c £40k -£45k per annum

We at NOW Careers are seeking a Qualified Finance Manager for a PERMANENT opportunity situated on the outskirts Bridgend.

Your responsibilities will include but not be exclusive to:

• Ability to develop/adapt financial systems
• Ability to communicate effectively by giving and receiving complex information and an ability to advise non-finance colleagues on financial matters
• Frequently demonstrate analytical, interpretation and judgemental skills on issues requiring comparative or option appraisal techniques and highly complex problems relating to Business Case products and analyses
• Ability to think and act strategically by producing a range of plans at Departmental level
• Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams at a strategic level inside the Organisation
• Ability to work with senior professionals on a team basis
• Demonstrate awareness of the management of risks and opportunities and contributes to medium term financial strategy
• Ability to work on own initiative at all levels, working within broad professional policies
• Ability to challenge in a constructive way as necessary, all financial procedures and processes
• Ability to implement Business Cases following approval
• Expert I.T. skills (Strong EXCEL)

You will be CCAB qualified. You will possess a can-do attitude, good Public Sector acumen and be prepared to help out with anything that is required in order to get the job done.

The salary on offer is c£40k - £45k
