Role Purpose

A pivotal role within our operation function, our Insight Analyst will support the development of our collections analytics and strategy. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end collections strategy including segmentation, contact and channel optimisation. Joining a fast paced, reactive organisation within an ever changing landscape, this role would be the right challenge for an analytical individual with drive, ambition and passion for process improvement and strategy build.

Analysis / Strategy

Constantly challenge the existing methodologies in place and provide recommendations to improve data usage and processes for collections Revise and recommend changes to how and when the pre-default contact strategy is initiated to drive improved collections performanceBe responsible for post-recovery collections strategies, optimising recovery rates Development of trend analysis to provide conclusions and recommendations to the Operations Leadership TeamUse testing to increase understanding of customer behaviour and strategy optimisation. Track ongoing performance to provide recommendations for improvementMI / Insight

Evolve our operational reporting and strategy monitoring to be efficient and to drive business decisionsCompile regular management information. Liaise with key business areas to gain an understanding of performance variance Delivery of actionable insightsStakeholder management

To work with the commercial and credit risk teams, to deliver on Chetwoods business goalsAssist with building of strategy and MI papers to present to Senior Leadership TeamsSupport members of the operations analytics team with projects and workflow coordination

Skills and experience

Sound knowledge of unsecured lending, with a solid understanding of arrears process and strategiesExperience in collections strategy specifically developing, driving, implementation and monitoring of strategiesAble to articulate complex points clearly, both in papers and verballyA sound understanding of the wider implications of how your decisions within operations can impact the risk and commercial spectrumAt least 2 years experience in lending, with practice in an analytical rolethe confidence and ability to challengeA strong knowledge of SQL and advanced excel skillsHaving experience using Python is an advantageKnowledge of both Microsoft and Google Suite of packages is advantageous Degree in a numerate subject is preferred
