The Role

The role of Team Leader plays a crucial function in delivering a best in class Finance service to the business and wider Finance team.

This role requires a self-starter with experience finance together with a clear and demonstrable understanding of the end to end working capital management cycle and its impact on profitability. Additionally, you should be able to evidence a proven track record of managing a team and making a positive contribution to their roles and careers.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of the Finance Operations Team - Billers, Revenue Helpdesk and Rates and Reporting
  • Ensuring development of the team through ongoing training, support and knowledge sharing and conducting the annual performance review
  • On-boarding and embedding tasks as future phases are deployed, and recruiting new team members to support the roll out
  • Review and recommend changes to current processes for all Office related tasks to continue to drive efficiencies in process
  • Investigating billing related queries
  • Work closely with the London Revenue Manager and Billing Supervisor to ensure appropriate escalation of team and related finance issues

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Self-motivated and dedicated
  • Strong Microsoft Office application experience i.e. Excel/Word/Outlook
  • A team player
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the confidence and gravitas to liaise at all levels within the business
  • and a willingness to work outside core hours during busy periods.
