Our client are a small but well-established accountancy company who are recruiting an experienced Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will work alongside another Bookkeeper and would be managing a portfolio of various clients.

Bookkeeper (Accountancy Practice)- Job Overview

As a Bookkeeper your duties will include;

• Carrying out weekly and monthly bookkeeping for various clients
• Maintenance of client bookkeeping software (Xero, Quickbooks & Sage and other bespoke systems)
• Maintenance of client records
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Liaising with clients to resolve questions on bookkeeping and invoices
• Supporting accountants
• Providing general administrative support

Bookkeeper (Accountancy Practice)- Skills & Experience Required

• Knowledge and experience in Sage 50, Xero and Quickbooks
• Excellent knowledge and experience of accounting processes ideally within an Accountancy Practice
• This is a client facing so strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multi task

Bookkeeper (Accountancy Practice) Benefits Offered

• £24,000 - £27,000 per annum
• Monday Friday / 8.30am 5.00pm
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays

• Due to the nature of this work, the role is office based
