What is the role?

You will be a key member of the finance team, supporting both internal and external stakeholders through compiling and analysing reports, reconciling accounts, and providing investigation into data discrepancies.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent Maths, Finance or Accounting graduate. For the successful candidate, we can support financially with AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualifications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse data reports for different stakeholders within Westcoast.
  • Investigate and explain discrepancies in data that occur or are queried from stakeholders.
  • Analyse and update Vendor sell out reporting data, to ensure accuracy and timeliness metrics are achieved.
  • Prepare Vendor rebate Claims including reconciliation of claims, working closely with Vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure claims are paid within set deadlines.
  • Support the Commercial team with Month End Justifications files and reviews with Business Managers.
  • Administer & manage NMC codes.
  • Project work within the finance, reporting and operations team to help the business identify efficiencies and opportunities.
  • Ad-Hoc tasks as required by the business.

Key Skills

  • Either an Accounting, Finance or Mathematics graduate, or Part Qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent MS Office skills especially Excel (Pivot tables, vLookUps, IF statements)
  • Proactive commercially minded individual with excellent communication skills
  • Able to communicate at all levels, articulate issues with clarity and affect change
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, proactive and able to work under pressure independently and as part of a team
  • Able to challenge existing practices and make recommendations to improve activity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop strong business relationships
