Your new role
As an audit and accounts senior, you will be responsible for taking an 'in-charge' role on audit engagements, being involved in the process from planning through to completion, delegating work to juniors as well a getting involved in the more tricky and complex areas of the audit. Alongside this you will play an active part in the training and development of juniors, mentoring and coaching them through their studies.

As well as this, you will also be responsible for a portfolio of clients, looking after their year-end accounts, as well as offering more of an advisory service, getting to know their business inside out and becoming a trusted advisor to them.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) accountant who possesses a strong previous background in practice. The ideal candidate will be familiar with audit processes and have good experience with leading parts or all of an engagement. Furthermore experience with preparing sets of accounts in accordance with both FRS-102 and FRS-105 is ideal. This is the ideal role for a newly qualified accountant looking to diversify their experiences and expand their practice career.
