RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's world class financial services firm in NYC seeks Vice President Tax Advisory. The Tax Department is seeking an experienced U.S. tax attorney or professional who will be a member of the Firm's Tax Advisory group. The Tax Advisory group is an advisory group within the Firm's Tax Department that provides tax advice and support on Business Unit and Firm-related tax matters. Responsibilities:

• Supporting Tax Operations and the Wealth Management Business by providing tax advice relating to transactions and business lines
• Advice and legal interpretation on technical tax issues including withholding, reporting and other operational tax issues
• Assistance on tax legal issues arising on audit
• Managing external advisors
• Participating in industry groups and initiatives

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3-4 years of tax advisory experience out of a law firm, accounting firm or financial industry experience; Experience in financial products taxation is preferred
• Motivated, team-oriented self-starter who has the ability to work effectively and efficiently with all levels of personnel, and who is adept at working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• JD in Tax is preferred
