About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant/Supervisor who can seamlessly manage a portfolio of clients at a senior level and demonstrate strong leadership to team of junior accountants/interns. Our successful candidate will possess demonstrable experience within a public practice accountancy environment, with particular interest in Taxation. You will have a genuine passion for autonomously leading and coaching a small team of aspiring Accountants!

Duties:
  • Provide business compliance advice and tax planning to a portfolio of clients
  • Utilise Taxation expertise to advise Partners in adding value to clients
  • Workflow management, coaching and mentoring of junior staff
  • Reviewing jobs completed by junior staff members
  • Involvement in the firm's Business development initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operations
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in public practice firms
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Solid understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
  • Previous experience and exposure in complex group tax structures
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience with Xero
  • Proven ability to develop and build client and staff relationships
  • Experience in managing junior staff
