We are looking for a strategic Cyber Security leader to join our team as Head of Cyber Security Services and lead the Cyber Security Services domain, with a focus on the successful delivery and effective operation of the Banks' colleague facing security capabilities and services.

Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

Reporting to our GM - Cyber & Governance, this position is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum in continuously improving the cyber security maturity of the Bank and will define, influence and champion DevSecOps to enable user centric security outcomes.

You will lead multiple teams (Identity & Access Management, Information Protection, Security Consulting and Strategy Execution) and be accountable for the successful delivery of BNZ's cyber security investment slate and the proposed business change.

The role will support the ongoing relationship with NAB by regularly communicating and interacting with NAB teams to ensure the BNZ and NAB cyber security programmes and capabilities are aligned where appropriate.

We are looking for an inspiring leader with extensive experience in Information Security, who has experience achieving results through people. A continual improvement and ongoing uplift mindset of people, process and technology is critical to success.

You'll bring confidence communicating and presenting effectively in a range of business settings, includes the preparation of written briefings to senior leaders (including the Executive team). You will also bring:

• Extensive experience in Cyber Security
• Knowledge of cyber security control frameworks and practical implementation
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, including identifying and working through business trade-offs
• Ability to influence at the highest level within an organisation
• Industry specific Information Security Qualifications, e.g. CISSP, CISM etc
