You will be joining a well-established, boutique Accounting Practice located in Burswood who offer a wide range of services to a diverse range of small to medium sized clients. They have a stable, close-knit team who have a friendly, collaborative approach to their clients.

About You:

You will describe yourself as an experienced Tax Professional who has a great attention to detail. You have a strong work ethic but understand the importance of family and work/life balance (as we do). You enjoy working in small team environments, have excellent time management skills and your strong tax knowledge and genuine desire to work long-term in a boutique practice will make you a great addition to our team.

The Opportunity:

Your main objective will be to manage your own business clients by offering a wide range of skills and expertise within tax and corporate advisory.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSF's
  • Manage client portfolio
  • Prepare and manage any other compliance obligations ie BAS, payroll tax, SMSF's etc
  • Develop a rapport with clients & maintain the relationship
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will have:
  • A Bachelor in Commerce or equivalent majoring in accounting
  • 3 years previous experience within a Public Practice
  • Experience with MYOB Accountant Enterprise (AE)
  • Experience with BGL 360 will be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong tax knowledge & ability to manage a client portfolio
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • An approachable, friendly disposition
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • A strong attention to detail
