My client is a house building company who are looking for an experienced Payment Clerk to based at their office in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. The payment clerk will work with making sure a company pays its bills, Processes invoices received and applies them to the right projects, departments, and people. Receives bills, acknowledges the terms of the invoices, and relays that information to Accounts Payable managers. Issue payments in accordance with the payment cycles directed and help administer payroll in many cases.
Details of the role are as follows:
Process the invoices and attach that information to the relative project or department for job costing and financial statement purposes.
Make sure invoices / payments are approved in time to meet established payment cycle.
Experience with using the accounting system - COINS would be advantageous.
Remit payments on invoices as directed by Accounts Payable management.
You will have at least 2-3 years of experience of working as a payment clerk for a house building company.
Start date - Immediately.
6 months work minimum with possibility of a longer contract.
References will be required.
£25k - £29k
