Tate Recruitment are working with a well-established, award-winning energy company to recruit for the role of Accounts Receivable Assistant, based in Reading.

As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will be responsible for processing of invoicing and cash receipts and Credit control/collection of debt owing to the business.
The Role:
Key Duties:

• Invoice creation (manual) and cash receipting

• Bank reconciliations

• Assist in creation of debt reports

• Issuing of monthly statement runs

• Process debt write offs

• Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Bankline & MS suite

• (Proficient in MS excel)

• Credit control /cash collection by telephone and email

• Recording and Escalation of queries

• Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure payment received

• Accurate Recording of all credit collection activity

• Providing management with regular account updates

• Achieve individual monthly cash collection target

• Sales ledger maintenance & housekeeping
Person Specification:

• Excellent written and verbal skills.

• Professional telephone manner.

• Collaborate with all business units including finance managers, finance teams, business partners & AR colleagues

• Attention to detail essential to ensure accuracy of work.

• Team player.

• Ensuring business standards are met.
