Robert Half - Accounts Assistant - South Cambridge
Robert Half are partnered with a fast-growing Cambridge based company as they seek a new Accounts Assistant to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking for their next step from a transactional role into a more Accounts focused position.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Purchase Ledger. Including data entry, supplier statement and purchase report reconciliations.
- Dealing with customer and supplier queries
- Process employee expenses and credit cards.
- Assist FC with month/year end preparation.
- Assist with VAT submissions
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including reporting of balance sheet risks and opportunities.
- Assist with implementing improved processes and internal controls
- Variety of administration duties.
Requirements:
- Previous Purchase Ledger experience.
- Accuracy is essential.
- MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience.
- Ability to work under pressure, quick learner and well organised.
- Ideally worked with Xero before.
Salary & Benefits
The role is offered with a salary of up to £30,000 plus benefits.
