Nicholas Hendry is currently recruiting for a new position, with our market-leading, Glenrothes-based client who is looking to recruit a new Bookkeeper into their business. Our client is a large local employer that is currently enjoying a continued period of business growth & requires an experienced individual to join their busy team.
The Bookkeeper position is a varied role that will form an integral part of the senior management team & plays a crucial part in the day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Accountancy & Finance, specifically with Bookkeeping, Payroll Processing, and management accounts preparation.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership, you'll be responsible for the full payroll process, transactional finance & the production of monthly management accounts. You'll prepare bank reconciliations, process month-end journals & support with the wider month-end process including preparing quarterly VAT returns.
This is a varied position, and the successful candidate will enjoy a flexible working arrangement.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts including,
* Producing Profit & Loss, Budget & Cash Flow Forecasting
* Bookkeeping to Trial Balance
* Run full Monthly/Weekly Payroll
* Bank reconciliation
* Preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory submissions including quarterly VAT returns, government statistical returns, P11D submissions, and PAYE settlement agreement submissions.
