An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading property development company based in central London.
Client Details
My client is a leading, listed property development/manager firm based in central London with a growing investment and development portfolio in the £bns.
Description
The Finance Business Partner will be an integral member of the Finance team and a key contributor in producing strategic and financial reporting (both internal and external). The position will be responsible for all monthly accounting, and financial analysis across a range of UK assets. The individual will bring strong business partnering skills and support special projects and corporate activity as required.
Specifically the role will be a mixture of:
- Reporting/Board reporting
Present month end close highlights to stakeholders
Proactively ensuring statutory compliance deadlines are met on time for entities responsible for.
Support the process improvement experience of month end close by reporting accurately and on a timely basis.
Analysis and interpretation of the portfolio results against prior forecasts and budgets.
Responsible for maintaining balance sheet reconciliations for entities.
Prepare financial data/information on an adhoc basis.
- Business Partnering
Ability to quickly identify and understand the business strategy and use this knowledge to provide relevant insight into business performance.
Provide proactive support to the business while ensuring the rigor and integrity of the reporting process follows the structures of a publicly listed organisation.
Provide a forward-looking and commercial view supported by a strong finance toolkit and excellent communication skills to help articulate different options and influence decisions.

- Digital and technology transformation
Profile
The successful Finance Business Partner will have the following credentials:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified, ideally 3-5 years PQE
Sound knowledge in financial accounting including ability to interpret rental statements.
Experience within the real estate/property and housing sector, ideally with listed company
Finance Business Partnering experience - excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders
Strong knowledge of Excel and other relevant software (PowerPoint/Word).
