RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Associate Hedge Fund Accounting in Sacramento, California (CA).
Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Associate Hedge Fund Accounting. They are looking for a motivated individual ideally with accounting or operations experience to join the Alternative Investments team focusing on Hedge products. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. The role can sit in Sacramento, California or can be remote but prefer the candidate lives in the west or Midwest.
Responsibilities include:
Senior Associate Hedge Fund Accounting will provide timely accurate management reporting and issue log maintenance, under moderate supervision
Reconcile and resolve discrepancies with other Shared Service teams, external clients, and Client Operations as needed
Senior Associate Hedge Fund Accounting ensure all inquiries are resolved in a timely and accurate manner and communicates effectively with client when necessary
Assist with workflow management and technology enhancement, make suggestions to streamline operations
Participate in special projects
Senior Associate Hedge Fund Accounting will train, develop, and motivate new staff
Coordinate and supervise work efforts when multiple associates are needed to complete work
Provide coaching, development opportunities to staff, participate in individual on-going training and development
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of hedge fund accounting or mutual fund accounting or product accounting or public accounting with financial services clients
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Candidates must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure, and simultaneously handle multiple assignments

- Manage the day-to-day activities of a functional/oversight team by monitoring, reviewing, and validating all daily activity to ensure accuracy and timeliness in calculations and processing, as well as adherence to controls, (e.g., ensuring accurate g/l and/or balance for daily pricing).
