Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Controller on an initial 6 month contract
Client Details
Our client is a fast growing, B2B business with an office in Glasgow
Description
The role will entail but will not be exclusive to:
- Management, support and development of the small Finance Team
- Preparation of timely and accurate management accounts each month
- Responsible for all monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and balance sheet control
- Provision of supporting financial information for monthly board reporting
- Measure working capital highlighting potential issues
- Management of the payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payments in a fast changing environment
- Compliance with tax and accounting regulations
- Manage the annual audit and preparation of statutory accounts
- Manage the preparation of corporation tax computations
Profile
The successful candidate requires as a minimum:
- Professional accountancy qualification
- Experience in a similar role in a SME
- Prior experience of managing and developing staff
Due to the urgent nature of the role candidates must be available at no more than 2 weeks notice
This role will be fully office based in Glasgow so candidates must be able to travel to the city
