Job Details
Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Accounting Manager on an initial 6 month contract. This role has come about due to a recent promotion within the finance team
Client Details

Description
The role will entail but will not be exclusive to:
- Preparation of the annual Financial Statements ensuring compliance with the statutory responsibilities - including FRS102
- Responsible for management of the treasury function including BACs
- Oversee all cash flow forecast, and periodic re-forecasts
- Planning of and key lead during the interim and final external audits, including overseeing the relationship with external auditors.
- Lead changes to systems as required to maximise efficiency's in finance processes and reporting.
- Provision of specialist advice regarding all aspects of taxation and tax planning as required
- Oversee submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Management and submission of the Corporation Tax return if applicable
- Ensuring that all systems, policies and requirements are reviewed as required to meet the changing needs
Profile
The successful candidate requires as a minimum:
- Professional accountancy qualification
- Preparation of Financial Statements (FRS102)
- Significant external reporting experience with specific responsibility for the full production of statutory accounts
- Detailed knowledge of VAT and corporate taxation issues
This role will have some element of working at the office so candidates must live commutable to Glasgow
