Finance Assistant - Insurer/Reinsurer - City of London (Hybrid) - Up to £35,000 + Study Support


Your new company
You will be joining a rapidly growing specialist Insurer and Reinsurer as a Finance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a close-knit finance team of three, you will report into the Finance Director who will be there to support your training and development from day one. Based in their modern City of London offices four days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining day.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for inputting payments for approval, allocating expenses in Xero software, liaising with banks, liaising with overseas branches, checking expenses for approval and booking tickets for business related travel.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will need to have previously used a finance software such as Xero, Sage 50 or SAP. You will be actively studying towards a further Accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA) and be an ambitious, driven and self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail.

In return, you will receive an annual salary of up to £35,000 + study support + benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
