What you can expect
Provides consulting/support in APAC Global Markets Operations (GMO) Branch Operations on operational risk related activities. Candidate should be familiar with the Bank's Risk Management Framework and demonstrate an understanding of the business acumen to recommend and implement solutions that enhance the risk and control framework. The candidate will participate in or lead resolution of any risks identified they should be able to gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls in the branch processes and prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management.

What you will do
. Be a trusted advisor to the APAC GMO Branch Operations leadership, helping identify and address needs of the organization related to Risk Management
. Drive issue identification and management activities across APAC GMO Branch Operations along with thematic analysis of issues identified.
. Ensure issues are identified, managed effectively and remediated in a timely manner as per original schedule.
. Lead risk management governance and routines for the APAC GMO Branch Operations organization
. Lead and drive process improvements across risk management activities
. Support reporting needs and data analysis of risk management information
. Participate in policy review and deployment activities across APAC GMO Branch Operations, working jointly with Compliance and the divisions on the review and implementation of changes
. Lead routines to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
. Participate and/or lead control assessments, utilizing experience in Operations and Risk Management to deliver value to the organization.
. Lead management routines focused on assessing the control effectiveness performance for the SPI inventory, along with any required remediation activities.
