Our client is a market leading technology company who have operated in both Australia and North America for over 25 years. Following an exciting phase on investment and growth, the organisation is looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Manager into a newly created role.
The primary objective of the role is to take ownership of the Accounts Payable function, implementing systems and processes which will successfully take the company into the future, whilst also focusing on the here and now.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function of the company. This will include:

To be successful in this position you will have a minimum 5 years' experience performing full function accounts payable. You will be customer focused, structured and process minded, with a passion for operational best practice.
You will be self-motivated, have a proven ability to build rapport with stakeholders, and will be systems savvy with an intermediate level of Excel skills.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function of the company. This will include:
- Ensuring efficient, accurate and timely processing of all vendor/supplier invoices
- Maintain and enforce proper AP policies, practices, and internal controls.
- Monitor accounts payable to ensure payments are up to date whilst taking advantage of payment terms.
- Maintain vendor files and accurate historical records.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Produce monthly reports and ad-hoc analysis.
- Assist with Month End Close.
- Ensure expense reimbursements are processed and paid in a timely fashion.
- Ensure expenses are allocated to the correct department budget/GL accounts.
- Work with various stakeholders to improve AP process, controls & analysis.
- Train, mentor, manage and provide support to staff members in the department to ensure everyone is working in the best capacity.
Your Profile
