Your new company
You will be working with a well established and highly regarded firm of accountants who are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Senior to their successful team. This general practice offer a range of services to their client base inclusive of accounting, tax, audit and payroll.

Your new role
As an Accountant at this firm you will be required to work with the portfolio manager to provide professional financial advice to the small and medium sized owner managed businesses. Your role will mainly comprise of preparing year end accounts and corporation tax returns as well as monitoring deadlines and tracking progress and billing targets. There may well be some personal tax work involved at busier times of the year.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy practice previously and ideally be ACCA/ ACA qualified with 3- 5 years post qualification experience although those who are qualified by experience will also be considered. Previous knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and up to date experience of the UK tax legislation in regards to tax is also essential. Experience of Xero, Sage, IRIS and Quickbooks would be looked upon favourably.

For those who want to work in the office full time that is possible but there is the option to work from home a number of days a week.
