A globally recognised, Top 10 firm are seeking a new Audit Assistant Manager for their Manchester and Liverpool offices. This exciting opportunity has arisen through a continuous period of company growth and offers a wide range of progression and development opportunities.

Your new role
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will have some responsibility managing your own portfolio of audited entities. You will be directly responsible for managing the on-site delivery of audit engagements. You will have an active role in the planning, execution and delivery throughout the engagements, identifying and presenting any issues to the manager or partner, offering potential solutions along the way. You will also be responsible for supervising, coaching and mentoring more junior members of staff, aiding and encouraging their development and learning whilst also developing your own leadership skills.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for building and maintaining new and existing client relationships, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the year.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA), motivated individual who has strong experience taking an 'in-charge' role within audit engagements. You should be confident with all aspects of audit to both UK and international regulatory schemes. You should also be a confident communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills.
