Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Managing and coordinating the production & publication of the Group monthly management accounts, and executive board reports.
• Critically appraising information provided by the Finance Managers and producing reports suitable for presentation to internal and external parties.
• Developing and managing Financial systems and policies.
• Providing insightful analyses, commentaries and investigations in response to queries raised by internal clients for informed decision making.
• Working closely with senior leaders across business and within the wider finance function including Finance Managers, Commercial Insight and operational finance teams.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant will have:

CIMA / ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant (Role would suit someone newly qualified)

Strong attention to detail.

The ability to priorities deadlines within a varied workload.

Determination and initiative to ensure invoices are paid as required.

Excellent customer service skills.

A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word.

Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage but not essential.

SQL knowledge
