An exciting opportunity for an experienced Audit professional to join and develop the Audit team at a leading Accountancy Firm, based in Southampton, that is small enough for you to make a difference, but large enough to support your career growth.

Our client is an ambitious and leading accountancy firm, based in Southampton, with an excellent reputation and wide ranging client base. The firm has an established team of audit and accounts professionals and they are extremely friendly and offer a very supportive working environment.
Description
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, liaising with them throughout the audit cycle
- Managing a portfolio of clients ranging in size within a range of sectors
- Managing teams throughout all stages of the process including the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit engagements
- Manage and mentor junior team members with the ability to give constructive feedback and support
- Ensuring the effective and timely delivery of engagements
- Assist in tendering for new clients
- Maintaining and developing client relationships, both written communication and conducting face to face meetings
- Continue developing yourself technically in all areas of the accounting and auditing standards
Profile
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within audit, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around the Audit Manager level and be looking to take your career to the next level, within a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.
