This organisation are a leading provider of adult social care services within North Liverpool and particularly the borough of Sefton- Crosby. They provide the highest quality of care and support for adults of all ages who have learning or physical disabilities as well as those adults who may require mental health support.
Description
The Head of Finance is an integral role within this established organisation in Crosby. As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Managing financial policies, planning, procedures and practices effectively and efficiently to support the activities of the business;
- Managing the up to date and accurate use of financial management systems and the timely reporting of budget monitoring information,
- Support and guide - enable the Leadership Team and the Board to make financially viable and sustainable business decisions;
- Preparing and submitting statutory accounts in accordance with regulatory requirements and liaise with Company Auditors; and
- Lead of manage a team of 4 within Finance and Accounts
- Implement new processes and procedures, systems and policies as and when required.
Profile
The successful Head of Finance will need to be a Qualified Accountant- holding a CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA or CIPFA qualification and have the demonstrable experience of leading a function.
- Ability to work with SLT and strategically guide an organisation
- Strong managerial capabilities
- Ability to implement processes and procedures to help push the organisation forward
- Production of Board reports
- Take a hands on approach when required
- Love what you do- wanting to add value and make a difference!
Job Offer
- Mostly Office based working with occasional visits to site
- Can work from home couple days per week
- 22 days annual leave plus banks
- 35 hour working week
