The Company
An aspiring growth story, the company is actively pursuing opportunities in the resources sector to widen its established footprint. Off the back of recent tendering wins of substantial size, the time is right to upgrade systems, processes, and expand back office capability. With a focus on continuous improvement, the group is poised to take full advantage of the recent upswing in WA's resources sector.

The Role
Reporting to the CFO the financial accountant will have full responsibility for financial reporting and processing functions.

Your Deliverables You will be responsible tor the consistent production of reliable and accurate financial information. Key duties will include:

• Playing a key role in month end close process and the provision of both year end and month end reporting,
• The provision of technical support to the CFO covering both the consolidation process
• Journal Entries,
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations,
• Cash Forecasting | Rolling & Re-Forecasting,
• Providing leadership and guidance to the AP and AR team,
• Liaising with external stakeholders including the auditors, tax advisors etc,
• Identifying and implementing process improvements,
• Ad hoc projects as required.

About You
You thrive in collaborative environments where your expertise is recognised. You have a can-do attitude, combined with a relevant accounting qualification (CA, CIMA, CPA, etc) and a minimum of 3 years commercial accounting experience. You will be outgoing, full of energy and ready to learn. Your personality thrives in an atmosphere where you enjoy learning about new businesses
