This company is growing bigger day by day, which has led to the opening within the Accounts team for an Accounts assistant to assist with AP / AR and Payoll functions.
Role
Your daily tasks will include:
Accounts Payable
- Assist with processing of invoices into the computerized accounting system, Pronto
- Distribution of invoices for approval
- Completion of credit applications
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Maintain and update supplier insurance details
- Reconciliation of corporate credit cards
Accounts Receivable
- Assist with the creation of progress claims and invoices for clients
- Completion of trade reference requests
- Update monthly bank guarantee fee schedule
- Set up new debtors into Pronto
- Maintain customer files and records
- Process credit card payments
- Deposit cheques / petty cash at bank
General Administration / Accounts
- Assisting the finance team with filing and other ad hoc administrative tasks as required
RemUneration
- $70-75k package including super based on level of experience
Selection Criteria
To be successful in your application for this role you must possess:
- Experience in similar accounts role
- High attention to detail & organisation skills
- Experience using Excel
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Strong work ethic, reliable & honest
