You have the opportunity to work as a Senior Payroll Officer role that is designed to closely assist the Payroll Team Leader, and support the payroll function focusing on a fortnightly payroll for C.2,000 employees in Australia. This role comes with clear career development and you will be supported by an experienced payroll leadership team.
It is an excellent opportunity for those who are experienced with the end to end payroll process, have worked on payroll projects previously and thrive in a collaborative team environment and ideally have used SAP.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide support within the payroll team e.g. processing employees pay, calculations, EA interpretation, process improvement, etc.
• Providing assistance, advice and general support to the HR/ Business Partners, Rem & Reward, managers and employees.
• Assist with any payroll related projects when required.
• Work autonomously within areas delegated while contributing to a strong team environment.

Preferred skills and experience:

• 5+ years of end to end payroll experience within a corporate environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and tax is highly desired.
• Proven experience working within a high volume processing environment.
• Experience using the SAP payroll system is desired but not essential. Knowledge of Kronos would also be beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and comprehensive problem solving skills.
