Senior Accountant

I am currently recruiting for a UK-focused real estate investment manager. Based in the West End they have intensive experience in investing in UK commercial real estate and are a well-established business offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an exciting role for an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant with experience of the property sector.

• Responsible for most aspects of the accounting & reporting of Fund projects and the financial control of the day-to-day transactions.
• Management of and main contact with the outsourced accounting team who are responsible for the preparation of management/statutory accounts, VAT, CIS & tax return submissions and bank compliance.
• Review of the quarterly project and group accounts (as prepared by the outsource team) and assisting in the preparation of Fund financial information for investors.
• Ability to deal with relatively complex accounting structures, VAT and UK/Jersey tax matters.
• Assisting with the on boarding of new corporate/property acquisitions and disposals (including banking, tax and accounting matters).
• Preparation and submission of FCA compliance reports.
• Dealing with Investor capital calls and distributions.
• Working closely with surveyors, Property Directors, Jersey Administrators and investment partners on day to day matters and ad-hoc projects.
