Description
This treasury analyst role would be responsible for:
- Take ownership for collating and consolidating the Group's cash flow forecast, proactively developing improvements and efficiencies within these processes.
- Take ownership for creating the daily cash position for the Group, identifying the most efficient way to manage the position in accordance with the Treasury Operations Policy and ensuring short term transactions (foreign exchange, money market deposits and loans) are accurately executed.
- Engaging with global subsidiaries, managing communications relating to local cash management, forecasting, internal business approvals and internal dividend processes and producing related performance analysis explaining key movements and their implications.
- Support the production of standard Treasury reports (including reports for the Treasury Committee) in a timely manner to demanding deadlines; Ensure the suite of reports is continuously refined and challenged and engage stakeholders to ensure their requirements are understood and met.
- Support the wider Treasury Team with ad hoc projects, absorbing workload and responsibilities across the Treasury department as necessary
Profile
This treasury analyst role would fit someone with:
- Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and information, highlighting key points
- Ability to understand wider impact, not just the detail
- Ability to engage with counterparties and manage relationships effectively
- Proactive outlook and approach; appetite to learn, question, develop and challenge as appropriate
- Team player, but with ability to act on own initiative when appropriate
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (inc. VBA), with a good knowledge of other MS Office products
- Good attention to detail, with ability to work accurately when under pressure and the ability to manage tight deadlines
- Ability to work and communicate with employees at all levels of the organisation
- Can communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken
