Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role:
Reporting to the Team Leader Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for overseeing and undertaking debt management and credit control functions to enable timely management of debt in line with agreed credit terms, legislative requirements and key performance metrics.
The role focuses on timely management of debt collection by managing risks effectively, liaising with relevant credit control agencies, negotiating repayment plans where appropriate, and developing effective relationship with key stakeholders and customers.
Mōu - About You:
You will have proven experience in accounts receivable, debt management and credit control ideally in a medium to large organisation, great with customers, have an eye for details and good system skills.
You will be a team player who is confident dealing with customers, good at meeting deadlines, highly motivated and results focussed.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

* Strong Knowledge of Accounting processes and practices
* Strong numerical skills with an eye for detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines
* Extensive experience in accounts receivable and credit control
* Experience in Debt Collection and customer accounts management
* Proven negotiation skills for debt collection and recoveries
* Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect
