We are looking for a keen, self-starter who brings a high attention to detail to come on board and join our Finance team.
Te tĪma - The team
Our Parliamentary Service Finance team provide a range of financial, planning and procurement services to our customers, within an exciting and unique organisation. You will enjoy a high trust relationship as you work within a collaborative, driven and fun team.
Mō te tūnga - About the role
You will be a key part of the Accounts Payable team ensuring that our suppliers are paid and our customers (managers, Members of Parliament, Member's support staff, Office of the Clerk, Parliamentary Counsel Office) receive your top notch customer service. Your "can do" attitude and ability to keep cool under pressure will enable you to establish key relationships within the organisation and with our customers to deliver positive customer experience.
Ngā haepapa - Responsibilities will include the following:

* Processing invoices, mileage claims and expense reimbursements
* Liaising across the business to ensure information received is complete
* Reconciling creditor statements and following up outstanding invoices
* Monitoring the Accounts email inbox
* Providing friendly and efficient customer service

Tō kete - What you will bring to the role will include the following:

* Experience in a similar accounts payable role
* Good working knowledge of computer systems, particularly financial systems and Excel
* A good eye for detail and be a quick learner
* Customer centric approach with the ability to build relationships across the business
* Excellent written and verbal communication

The appointing salary range for this role is $57,361 to $63,332 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
