Responsibilities
Primary purpose of position:
Responsible for providing support to the Finance Department by managing daily processing and reconciliation tasks. The role is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department.
Duties:
- Process and update financial data in the trading platform as and when required to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Reconcile payment transactions in the trading platform to ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Liaise with other teams such as sales and customer support teams as necessary to resolve any matters or queries in relation to the above.
- Assist the financial accountant with month-end reporting, including updating general ledgers as required.
- Support the senior accountants with audit-related tasks at year-end.
- Assist senior accountants with ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Education/Qualifications
Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent preferred
Knowledge and skills:
Essential:
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with relevant computer software.
Desired:
- Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot day-to-day issues
- Experience with Xero or other similar software
- The ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
